Learning at home - Week 3 & 4

Well done to everyone for navigating your way through Learning at Home for weeks 1 and 2. Our Learning at Home grids for weeks 3 and 4 have been prepared and are ready to go. Teachers have again developed a variety of learning at home materials and resources to support students with their learning. The range of learning packs is the same as weeks 1 and 2 and cover the areas of:

  • English
  • Maths
  • Physical Education
  • Zones of Regulation
  • Inquiry
  • The Arts
  • Brain Breaks
  • and Hands On Learning.

We hope that you and your child/ren find these packs and learning materials easy to access, use and learn from. Class teachers will notify you via email with information about which colour pack your child/ren should download for English and Maths and other specific instructions your child/ren need. We hope that we ahve fixed the permissions issue with the first packs and it shoudl be easier to download links. If you have any issues with downloading then contact us asap.

The packs are designed to use over the 2 week time frame. There is no an expectation that all activities are finished. Students and families are encouraged to do what they can do, when they can, while still having time for other important learning and relaxation within the family home.

We encourage students to record their home learning in one exercise book (apart from hands-on and physical activities). The table below contains links to all the packs developed. Again as the two week period progresses your teacher will be in touch with you. During this time you can ask questions, share work and receive feedback about the activities.

This grid has been developed to help you monitor what your child/ren have done each day.

NOTE: PM eCollection is a new online reading program that we are incorporating into our learning program from this term. You will find a link to this program in the English packs and teachers will email student logins to parents/carers. To find out how to use the program please access the following link.
